Danke Schoen: Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

Today I headed over to 6th Avenue to watch the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, which is a true New York institution. Parades always remind me of Ferris Bueller gatecrashing the German-American parade in Chicago. Sadly, I didn’t get to infiltrate a float like Ferris, but I did manage to sneak behind the police lines to get a better view by using the Subway underpasses (top tip for next year). Happy Thanksgiving!
